How to Register for Leg 7: Your Step-by-Step Guide

Before you start, make sure you have the following information ready:

  • Personal details (name, age, contact information)
  • Karting experience and any previous race participation
  • Kart specifications (if you’re bringing your own)
  • Emergency contact information

Step 2: Choose Your Class

Decide which class you’ll be competing in. Whether you’re a Bambino, Mini Rok, Kid Rok, or gunning for the Senior Max title, there’s a category for every skill level.

Step 3: Review the Rules

Step 4: Fill Out the Registration Form

Step 5: Submit and Pay

Once you’ve completed the form, submit it along with your registration fee. Remember, early registration ensures you get the standard rate of N$1200.00. Late registrations (after September 4, 2024) will be charged N$1600.00. If you have your own Transponder, then put in your Transponder number. If you need a transponder, remember that to hire it for the day is N$400.00, bringing your total to N$1,600.00

Step 6: Confirmation

After submitting your form and payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Keep this for your records and bring a copy to the event.

Race Day Timeline

  • 7:00 AM-8:00 AM: Registration and Scrutineering
  • 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM: Drivers’ Briefing
  • 9:00 AM–10:57 AM: Warm-ups and Qualifying (all classes)
  • 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM: Heat 1 (all classes)
  • 1:00 PM – 1:30 PM: Lunch Break
  • 1:30 PM-5:00 PM: Heat 2 and Heat 3 (all classes)
  • 6:30 PM: Prize Giving

What to Bring

Help participants prepare by providing a checklist of essential items:

  • Valid NMSF license for 2024
  • Printed and signed registration confirmation
  • Appropriate racing gear (helmet, suit, gloves, etc.)
  • Kart and spare parts (if not renting)

  • Sunscreen and hat (it can get hot on the track!)

Spectator Information

Don’t forget about the fans! Add a section for spectators:

For the Fans

  • Ticket price: N$50.00 for gate entrance
  • Bring sunscreen, hats, and chairs for comfort
  • Refreshments will be available for purchase
  • Best viewing spots: Spectator Viewpoints will be directed by the COC for the day. Most people get the best shots around the track. The track is not very big; take the time to walk around and get good photos at different angles.
